The staff and governors are keen to extend our provision to best support the needs of local children and their families.
Our services for children include:
- Nursery School: High quality early years education is at the heart of all our services staffed by an experienced team including a core group of teachers. Children can access their Free Entitlement Sessions as 5 mornings, 5 afternoons or over 2½ days in the week
- Full day care: Brantfield Quality Care offers full day care for children over two years from 8.00 till 6.00 for 51 weeks a year. This provision complements the nursery education session enabling us to welcome children of parents who are working or attending college.
Older siblings can attend during school holidays. - Speech and Language Support: We have a Speech and Language Therapist who works in school one day a fortnight supporting childrens language development. She offers advice and support for parents and staff.
- Health Service: We work closely with colleagues from the Health Service. Health visitors, therapists, dental hygienists are all welcomed into Brantfield whether working with individual children or for the benefit of all.
- Children’s Centre Services for Kendal: Brantfield is part of Kendal’s Children’s Centre providing a venue for meetings and events. We link with Barnardo’s who co-ordinate advice and support for children and their families from Brantfield and across the town.
